Dr. Barbara Sarb is the Medical Coordinator for the Interventional Pain Management Department at Florence Neurosurgery and Spine Center.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physiology, from Michigan State University in 1987. She received her medical doctorate from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1991 and completed her transitional internship and residency at the Botsford General Hospital in Michigan. She is Board Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry with special emphasis in Interventional Pain Manangement.
For the past 20 years Dr. Sarb has been practicing in Interventional Pain Management. Her clinical and special interests include managing acute and chronic pain through ESI's, selective nerve root injections, lumbar sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials, interscalene and femoral nerve blocks, Electrodiagnostic Studies (EMG/NCV, Evoked Potentials, EEG) and Sleep Disorders which include CPAP Treatments and Interpretation of Polysomnograms.
